Booking Notice

• The reference price is based on 2 people traveling together on a private tour. Final pricing depends on travel dates, group size, hotels and itinerary adjustments.

• The standard guide arrangement is English-speaking in Xiamen/Fujian and Mandarin- or Cantonese-speaking in Chaoshan. Please request and confirm an English-speaking Chaoshan guide before booking if required.

• Day 1 includes sightseeing after your Xiamen airport pickup. A late arrival may require a revised sightseeing schedule.

• Days 2 and 5 include first-class high-speed train journeys. Confirm the departure stations, train numbers, boarding times and ticket details before travel.

• The Yingge Dance, Zaiyang Tea House performances and Gulangyu puppet show depend on venue schedules and confirmed admission arrangements.

• Day 4 includes a Paifang Street food walk. Individual food and drink purchases are at your own expense unless specified in the final meal plan.

• Day 6 involves extensive walking on Gulangyu, plus scheduled ferry and island transport. Ferry times and attraction access must be confirmed.

• Day 7 is a full-day road excursion from Xiamen to Yunshuiyao and the Nanjing Tulou area, returning to Xiamen that evening. Nanjing refers to the county in Fujian, not Nanjing city in Jiangsu.

• Visits to inhabited tulou and historic villages must respect residents' privacy. Access to individual buildings or upper floors may be restricted.

• The public itinerary explicitly lists hotel breakfasts from Day 2 to Day 8 and states that Day 6 lunch is self-funded. Confirm all other meals and tasting arrangements in the final quotation.

• More than 30 days before departure: 10% cancellation fee

• 30–15 days before departure: 20% cancellation fee

• Less than 48 hours before departure or no-show: 100% cancellation fee

• Any non-refundable costs already incurred for hotels, train tickets, attraction tickets or other services will be handled according to the final confirmed booking terms, without duplicate deductions.

Where does the tour end?

The tour ends with the scheduled departure transfer to Xiamen Airport on Day 8.

 

Which meals are included?

Breakfast is explicitly listed on Days 2–8. The public itinerary does not provide a complete schedule of included lunches and dinners; Day 6 lunch and individual Paifang Street purchases are specifically self-funded. All other meals should be confirmed in the final quotation.

 

Does the tour include Yunshuiyao and the Hekeng Tulou Cluster?

Yes. Both are scheduled on Day 7, along with Hegui Building and Huaiyuan Building. This is a day trip from Xiamen, so you return to Xiamen for the night.

 

Is lunch included on Gulangyu Island?

No. The Day 6 itinerary explicitly states that lunch and snacks on Longtou Road are purchased at your own expense.

 

Are food tastings included during the Chaozhou food walk?

The guided Paifang Street food walk is scheduled, but the reference itinerary specifies that individual food and drink purchases are at your own expense.

Does the tour include Yingge Dance?

Day 2 schedules an Yingge Dance performance at the Chaoshan Historical and Cultural Expo Center. The actual session must be reconfirmed against the venue's performance schedule.

Are high-speed train tickets included?
