FAQ
Is this a private tour?
Yes. The reference price is based on two travelers on a private tour, with private scheduled road transportation and intercity high-speed train journeys.
Is an English-speaking guide included?
Yes. Professional licensed English-speaking guide service is included for scheduled sightseeing and transfers.
Can I visit Meijiawu Tea Village on Day 7?
Yes, if your Shanghai departure flight is sufficiently late and the extended program has been confirmed in advance. Tea picking depends on the harvesting season and the farmer's arrangements.
Are the high-speed trains included?
Yes. The scheduled Shanghai–Huangshan, Huangshan–Hangzhou and Hangzhou–Shanghai journeys are included. Train numbers, stations and seat classes will be confirmed before travel.
Which meals are included?
Breakfast is included from Day 2 to Day 7, with scheduled local lunches on Days 3 and 6. Other lunches and dinners are not included in the standard arrangement. The Day 7 tea-themed lunch applies only if the extended Meijiawu visit is confirmed.
Will I definitely see sunrise and a sea of clouds on Huangshan?
No. Both depend on weather and visibility. The mountaintop overnight stay makes an early sunrise outing possible, but the scenery cannot be guaranteed.
Is the Huangshan section physically demanding?
Huangshan has many stone steps and exposed mountain paths. The scheduled cable cars reduce the amount of climbing, but walking is still required. Your guide can adjust the route according to your preferred activity level and the sections open that day.
Can this itinerary be customized?
Yes. This is a private tour. The Shanghai architecture walk, Huangshan hiking route, village visit, cultural workshops, hotel arrangements and departure schedule can be adjusted according to your interests.
