• Please provide your Datong arrival flight or train details before booking. Day 1 includes substantial sightseeing, so an early arrival is recommended. A late arrival may require the first day's route and lunch arrangements to be adjusted.
• Day 2 involves a long private road transfer from Datong to Pingyao, with stops at Hanging Monastery and Yingxian Wooden Pagoda. Allow approximately 5.5–6.5 hours for driving, excluding sightseeing and meal stops.
• Hanging Monastery has narrow passages, steep steps and elevated walkways. Access to the cliffside buildings depends on current opening rules, visitor limits, advance reservations, ticket availability and weather.
• If entry to the cliffside buildings is unavailable or unsuitable, the monastery can be viewed from the designated ground-level viewing area.
• Yingxian Wooden Pagoda is included as a scheduled sightseeing stop. Access to its interior or upper levels depends on the site's conservation and admission rules.
• Pingyao Ancient Town is primarily explored on foot. Some historic streets have uneven stone paving, and vehicle access to accommodation within the old town may be restricted.
• Day 4 includes visits to Shuanglin Temple and Wang's Family Compound before the departure transfer. Please book an afternoon or evening departure and confirm the final railway station in advance.
• Sunrise photography and illuminated evening streets in Pingyao depend on the weather, season and available free time.
