One trip became
the start of many.

One of the guests had previously travelled to Shanghai
with her daughter. She enjoyed the experience enough to know
that one trip to China would not be enough.
This time, she organised the trip herself and invited friends to join —
three couples travelling from Singapore to Chongqing.
Chongqing is not intended to be the last stop either.
She is already planning to return to China twice a year,
gradually experiencing more of the country.

food experiences and free time were adjusted across several versions.

Arrival in Chongqing
By departure, the final route was no longer a generic Chongqing tour.
It reflected how these six guests actually wanted to travel.

Rather than staying in central Chongqing for the entire trip,
the route moved between urban neighbourhoods, Wulong,
mountain scenery, Gongtan Ancient Town and the Wujiang River.

Chongqing is not a city that reveals itself from one viewpoint.
Much of the experience came from moving through it —
from Liziba and Eling to Xiahaoli, Longmenhao,
Jiefangbei and Kuixinglou.
Streets rise and fall, buildings connect at unexpected levels,
and a short walk can move from an old neighbourhood
into a completely different city scene.

During the central city stay, the group stayed atFour Points by Sheraton Chongqing Jiefangbei.Its central location worked particularly well for a trip
with several walking-heavy days, night views and evening dining.
As the route moved outside the city, accommodation changed with it:
Wulong and the surrounding areas used local hotels,
while the final night was arranged near Jiangbei Airport
before the return flight.
